Our left brain side oriented society
In general we are (Western culture) masters in the art of using our left brain side specialties.
You see this everywhere where we look.
We write on white sheets of paper with mainly black ink. We love to make lists, analyze, approach everything
sequential and we love to communicate with words and letters.
As soon as somebody has a different approach to all this, we (as a society) think this person must be a very
creative person. It's almost like a stigma; you cannot hide for it and once you have this stigma most people start
to think that you must have a special mind and therefore one can expect weird things from this person.
This is not good, as we tend to limit ourselves to become more right hand side oriented brain users; most people
love to be normal instead of a creative person.
But when we look around we actually see that it is quite normal to be creative; look at our
kids. In fact a research, done by mister Tony Buzan, showed that geniuses like Da Vinci, Edison, Einstein and
Michelangelo did the very same. They integrated left AND right side brain specialties into everything they
did.
I have one more shocking reality for you. When our kids go to kindergarten, 95% of them turn out
to be creative; right side brain specialty. 20 years later only 5% still is.
Makes me think about what we learn what we learn at school what is good for you!
Another 20 years later this number has become almost 0%.
Let's learn something more about our brain
Well, it is time to learn how to learn more about our brain principles and brain theories
