Classical myths about our brain
My brain functions just well!
Personally I don't understand a statement like this at all.
Everybody's brain can perform better.
People who make a comment like this I usually don't see as
bright people. They basically always underperform and cocooned
in their comfort zone. "This is how their life is and always
be; and they tend to concentrate on blaming others and the
circumstances.”
But I don't believe you are one of these persons, otherwise you
wouldn't read this.
Take a look at the following questions. If only one applies to
you, you have a motive to start training your brain in order to
achieve more.
Is this you?
-
When I was younger I had a better brain
-
Learning was a lot easier when I was young
-
Very often I don't recall the names and/or faces of persons
anymore
-
I need a notebook in order to remember phone numbers,
birthdays, dates and addresses.
-
I don't like to take an exam
-
I don't like to learn
-
Sometimes my brain will not function right
-
Why should I improve my brain capacity?
You and I realize that all these comments are basically excuses
and really could become something
like:
-
I am looking forward to meet new people as I remember every
detail effortlessly
-
Phone numbers, birthdays, shopping lists and addresses
simply stick inside my head
-
I don't mind to speak publically; I don't need notes, as my
speech is fluently expressed, people like to listen to my
story and I am not afraid to get on stage and I know I will
not forget what I want to say.
-
I work more efficient.
-
I like to learn new things
-
My creativity, fantasy and my adventurous side have
increased
-
I trust my memory gets better every
day
Let's move forward and look at
the way we learn
.
