What you need in order to mind map? 

Paper: Preferrably A4 or even A3 or....if possible A2 size

Color pencils; these can be anything. I like to use thick and thin pencils.

We need the pencil in order to draw the sketch, afterwards you make it beautiful with the color pencils

Even you will sometimes make mistakes; eraser

We definately need your brains

And especially your imagination and associations.
