Mind map
symbols
The big excuse!
This is something I always hear people say as an excuse: I
CANNOT DRAW!
In those cases I can only say: You believe that, I don't;
but you are 100% right!. And this only because you belief it's
true!.
I think Albert Einstein had a saying like that as well.
But in my 14 years of training people I have never met a
person who couldn't draw the symbols which I put on this
drawing.
Maybe you are the only exception. But I dare you: Take a closer
look at this drawing and try to draw 3 of these.
I am sure you are able doing that!.
Symbols that even you can draw

Well, how did you do?
Of course you could! Maybe not perfectly, but you could.
This means your drawing skills are good enough to make a good
mind map. You passed the test.
Actually we all can draw a bit. I have never
ever seen a kid that could not draw. Sure, one was better
than the other.
In case of drawing a mind map what really counts is the
intention, not the result. It really is a shame that we have
(consciously) forgotten how to draw. And I am convinced that
you can do it as well.
Well, if you still hesitate, I simply ask
you to take away your obstacle in your mind. You can do
this!
I actually advise you to use symbols which
are used often to make a special book for them. Draw them
in there. In this way you'll always have examples on you.
This will save you time when producing a mind map and
when you have problems coming up with the right
symbol.
Let's go to our
imagination and
associations
