Brain principle
Perserverance
Our most important brain principle:
perseverance
Whenever you want to learn something new, you need a lot of
effort in order to be able to start with it.
But the more often you do this, the faster and easier it is
going to be.
There is a great metaphor for this principle.
Think of a jungle. There are lots of trees, plants and
branches. You need to get through. You will need to cut them
out of the way.
The first time it will take considerable time to drag you
through this jungle.
The second time will be a lot easier as you already prepared a
route.
The third time you will make this path wider in order to be
able to travel this path even faster.
This applies to your brain as well. Our brain wants you to
persevere in order to reach your desired goal.
And again; looking at kids will show you the same. Whenever
kids are doing something new, they are totally focused on the
new goal. They do not even consider limitations or failures.
They want to learn it and will start trying.
1001 times they will fall down or hurt themselves. And time
after time they will get up again and try again and again.
They will be frustrated, maybe even cry, but will keep on doing
it until......they can do it.
