Short term memory result page
Now this is a very important moment in many
ways!.
First of all, I am very curious about your results; your normal way of remembering vs. a new
way.
Mind you: I am daring to compete although I have to fight against your 'experienced' way of using your brain;
the way you normally cram lists. Do you think it's fair? I am fighting many years of using this way of remembering
and my system is only a few minutes old.
And still, I am really convinced that when you played everything by the rules, that the results of your new way
of remembering will astonish you. At least I hope it will.
Secondly, I ask you to do this test in a very aware state. What do I mean by that? Well, while
going through my questions, I want you to be aware of many emotions? For example: do you like it? What feelings do
you get? Is it fair to present the questions in such a way? If yes, why and if not, why? Please also notice how
sure you are of your answers in the two different systems. This is very important to notice. Some experience
moments of absolute control and no uncertainties at all. Others don't. I am very curious about yours.
Ok, here we go. I'm going to ask you to recall certain items randamly per list. Your answers must be
correct!.
Let's start with your normal list: link to normal test (click the link)
How did you do?
What did you notice? It can be really difficult, isn't it?
Ok, lets go on to the new list: special short term memory test (click the link)
I'm certain that you passed the test! Did you notice something? The first time I did this, I got
the feeling like I cheated. I was mentioning so many anchor points that it almost became hard not to
remember. 'That’s not fair, if you compare that with the old system, isn't it?’
That's the whole point! Because of the fact that we do that in a playful way, one remembers much
more. Nobody taught us this in school and therefore we presume that this is not fair! No, school wasn't fair
to us.
Ah, at that time they weren't aware of this. But now, we do!
Please notice that I didn't ask you to remember anything. I only asked you to vividly as
possible see all things in your minds eye.
That's the
trick!
