Success oriented brain
principle
Our brain needs a
goal!
Once you set a goal your mind/brain will start to try to
realize your goal.
The more specifically defined, the easier you make it for your
mind to find a suitable strategy in order to achieve your
goal.
That is why I urge you to define your goals on paper. You also
need to visualize them.
At the same time these notes will make you responsible for your
own goals as well.
Fact: Only 10% of the people do this; write
their goals in life down!
There has been a very interesting study among students on this
subject. Apparently 10% of the students do this as well.
After 20 years a study group has been revisited. What did they
actually achieve of their goals, defined 20 years earlier?
The people who actually wrote down their goals seemed to
possess 97% of the total capital among these students.
I say it one more time: They wrote down their goals in life and
continued doing that on a regular basis.
After 20 years the researchers asked the same study group. Only
10% of these wrote down their goals consistently.
When adding their personal $-value of all the persons involved
in this research project, it turned out that the 10% of the
persons who really wrote down their personal goals, were
possessing 97% of the total $-value!!!!
Writing down your goals is
important
Why is this so important?
The moment you write down your goals it will make your goal
very clear and specific. It also provides you with the
opportunity to reread your goals.
This importance comes to surface in business environments as
well.
Businesses which have clear definitions concerning their policy
of customer care seem to function much better than those firms
without them.
If you wish your brain to function as optimal as possible, you
need to make sure to write down your goals. You also need to
define the criteria. With these criteria you can observe your
progress and correct if necessary.
If you are aiming too high, your motivation will drop.
Why?
Everybody needs success sometimes.
So here is my advice in order to profit from this brain
principle:
* Make sure to develop a very clear and well documented vision
of your goals.
* At specific intervals check and note down your progressions.
Do this on a regular basis.
* And make sure to count your blessings while being in this
process.
